This is a virtual training EST time zone (please take into account the time zones where you live). It will meet weekly for 16 weeks at the same time.
48 CE Credits for Social Workers and Counselors is available through NASW authorization # RI-8441 (please check with your local licensing boards to see if this authorization is accepted) There will be a fee of $20 to cover administration costs.
What you'll learn:
You will learn the IFS model, have supervised practice sessions (recorded for your personal review), learn to recognise your own "therapist parts", discover how to access more of your own "Self energy" and have the opportunity to have all of your questions answered. You will also have the opportunity to participate in and/or witness live demos.
There is a 90 page course manual that supports the course and many recorded and annotated IFS sessions that demonstrate the application of the IFS protocol. Each didactic teaching session and consult group is recorded for your use alone. At the end of the ThinkingHeart intensive you will have a solid foundation with the model, and developed the confidence to begin using the model in your practice.
Requirements:
ThinkingHeart Intensive is open for therapists, counsellors, coaches, pastoral counsellors or other mental health professionals; however you must be actively engaged in 1:1 work with clients to be able to practice and implement the teachings.
